Begin your journey in Aizawl, the charming capital city set amidst rolling hills and lush valleys. Explore its cultural landmarks, vibrant local markets and panoramic viewpoints. Travel through the serene hill station of Hmuifang, known for its cool climate and forested surroundings, and continue to Thenzawl, home to the spectacular Vantawng Falls, the highest waterfall in Mizoram. Experience breathtaking 360-degree views from Reiek Tlang and unwind at the tranquil Tamdil Lake, surrounded by dense evergreen forests.

On arrival at Lengpui Airport (AJL), you will be received and transferred to your hotel in Aizawl, the picturesque capital city of Mizoram situated at approximately 4,000 feet above sea level. Aizawl is beautifully surrounded by high ridges and deep valleys. The deep green valley of the River Tlawng lies to the east while the Durtlang Hills rise protectively to the north. The pleasant climate, fresh mountain air and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal hill destination for travellers seeking tranquility and natural beauty. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for leisure and relaxation. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
After breakfast, proceed for a full day city tour of Aizawl. Visit Solomon's Temple, a magnificent white marble church known for its grand architecture and serene spiritual environment. Continue to Mizoram State Museum, which showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Mizo tribes including traditional costumes, historical artefacts, handicrafts and musical instruments. Later visit Durtlang Hills viewpoint, offering panoramic views of Aizawl city and the surrounding landscapes. You will also explore the Mini Zoological Garden which houses rare species native to the region, followed by a visit to KV Paradise, often referred to as the Mizo Taj Mahal due to its beautiful structure and peaceful setting. In the evening, enjoy shopping at Luangmual Handicraft Centre and Bara Bazar, the bustling local market known for traditional Mizo handlooms and bamboo products. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
After breakfast, drive towards Hmuifang, a tranquil hill station located at an altitude of around 5,000 feet. Hmuifang is known for its lush forests, cool climate and panoramic mountain views. The peaceful surroundings and natural beauty make it an ideal stop for nature lovers and photographers. After spending some time amidst its scenic landscapes, continue the journey to Thenzawl, a charming town famous for its traditional handloom industry. Visit Vantawng Falls, the highest waterfall in Mizoram, cascading from a height of approximately 750 feet and surrounded by dense bamboo forests. The viewpoint offers spectacular scenery and excellent photography opportunities. After local exploration, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Thenzawl.
After breakfast, drive to Reiek. Visit Reiek Tlang, situated at 1,548 metres above sea level. Reiek Peak offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. On clear days, the plains of Bangladesh can be seen from the summit. The hill is surrounded by lush temperate forests and offers opportunities for short nature walks and trekking. You may also explore the nearby heritage village that showcases traditional Mizo lifestyle and architecture. Later, drive back to Aizawl and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tamdil Lake, the largest natural lake in Mizoram. Surrounded by dense evergreen forests, Tamdil Lake offers a serene and refreshing atmosphere. It is an ideal picnic spot where visitors can enjoy boating, nature walks and bird watching in a peaceful setting. The calm waters and scenic surroundings create a perfect environment for relaxation and photography. In the evening, return to Aizawl. Overnight stay at Aizawl.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Lengpui Airport for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of the scenic landscapes, rich culture and peaceful charm of Mizoram.
